
With his curly hair and tall frame Ryan is instantly recognisable and is a hugely popular figure in English sport.
Recently retired from International cricket, Ryan was first capped for England in 2000 and has represented his country 65 times in Test, One-Day and Twenty20cricket.
In 2008, he was named England’s Man of the Series in New Zealand taking 24 wickets to help secure a 2-1 victory and was also named England’s joint top bowler at the Twenty20 World Cup this year.
Making his debut at his native club Yorkshire in 1997, Ryan left the club at the end of the 2003 season to join Nottinghamshire and next season sees him return to his original club Yorkshire on a 3-year deal to finish his career.
