We are thrilled to announce that Louisa Lytton has joined the cast of American Pie: Book of Love, her first major role in a feature film.

Louisa will play Imogen, a 17 year old British girl. Louisa is currently filming on location in Vancouver.

Louisa Lytton rose to fame in 2005, joining EastEnders (BBC1) as Ruby Allen.  In March 2006, Louisa was award “Sexiest Female” at the British Soap Awards.  Later that year, at just 17, Louisa left EastEnders and appeared as the youngest ever contestant on Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1).  After several impressive performances she was eliminated in the quarter-finals, finishing in fourth place out of fourteen.

In May 2007, Louisa joined The Bill (ITV1) as PC Beth Green.

Louisa was one of the former Strictly Come Dancing participants to be asked to return for Strictly On Tour which took place in early 2008 and toured the country, She was asked to return due to her personality and popularity with the audience on Strictly Come Dancing. “I absolutely loved taking part in Strictly Come Dancing and jumped at the chance to take part in the live show, and thanks to my bosses at The Bill I’ve got the chance to get back out there and this time, fingers crossed, win it for the girls!”. She won numerous times.

In September, Louisa represented Great Britain in the Eurovision Dance Contest, finishing 9th.  Christmas 2008 also saw Louisa appear in pantomime for the first time, playing the title role in Peter Pan opposite US actor Henry Winkler in Milton Keynes.

March 2009 saw Louisa appear in her final scenes of The Bill. April 2009 will see Louisa join the cast of American Pie: Book of Love.
