For 4 weeks, Marcus was based in Norway taking on the adventure of a lifetime with 9 other celebrities for the new primetime ITV1 series, 71 Degrees North. The show started with 10 celebrities battling against the elements on their journey to reach 71 Degrees North. Each week, the celebrities were split into two teams and given instructions for a terrifying challenge that could save them from going home.

Marcus Patrick, Suzie Amy and Gavin Henson were the remaining 3 contestants. All eager to win but suffering against the harsh conditions they went head to head to in their final challenges. From day one Gavin Henson has been the predicted winner with his constant success on the tasks which gained him immunity from being voted off. But against all odds, Marcus who was quoted the dark horse of the show gave his all in the final challenge against his nemesis Gavin and was crowned king of the Tundra.
