Calum has also dabbled in acting, appearing In ITV1 cult drama series Footballers Wives.

In 2005 he appeared in ITV1’s Celebrity Love Island, and appeared again the following year and was crowned the winner.  In 2006, Calum appeared in the ITV2 series Calum, Fran and Dangerous Danan which saw them travel from Texas to Los Angeles on America’s Route 66.

In late 2006, he launched a limited edition men’s cologne called Calum.  During the second half of 2008, Calum filmed for MTV strand Totally Calum Best in Los Angeles.

2009 will see Calum appear as a judge on ITV2 show Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend.
