Eddy Temple-Morris

Eddy Temple-Morris

Biography

Since launching Xfm’s legendary (and twice Sony Award nominated) dance-rock crossover radio show, The Remix (now the biggest specialist show on the station), eight years ago, Eddy Temple-Morris has become the undisputed champion not just of genre-hopping but of genre-breeding.

It’s why artists from Kasabian to Liam Howlett (The Prodigy) rate his presenting skills, his DJing skills and his-hat-wearing skills above any other’s. It’s why his remixes have graced b-sides from the likes of Athlete, Delays and Snow Patrol, why ‘Patrol’s frontman Gary Lightbody calls him ‘twisted genius’. And it’s why the man behind Manumission rates Eddy as “the future of Ibiza”.

Wherever music makes people feel better, that’s where you’ll find Eddy. Although you may remember his bottom from Adam & Joe’s ‘Takeover TV’, where he infamously delivered monologues from his face-painted rear.

You will know his voice from the radio (Chris Evans once called him the coolest man working in the medium) and you will have likely have danced to his infamous DJ sets in clubs where his “Dance Rocks”, “The Remix”, and “Rizla Rogue DJs” nights are or were consistently among the best-reviewed parties available to the UK and Ibiza’s hedonists. Radio and club DJ’ing aside you will definitely seen his face light up talking about music on the TV at some point over the past 12 years. Amongst shows like MTV’s groundbreaking Up For It Live show and the Pepsi Chart on Channel 5 as well as standing in for Zane Lowe regularly on MTV2’s Gonzo, Eddy has literally been either presenting or producing some of the UK’s most relevant music related shows of the past few years.
